KYDEX® sheet is a resilient thermoplastic alloy designed to protect the long-term performance and appearance of products. It features unmatched impact resistance, capable of withstanding impacts, gouging, and scratches. Depending on the grade, KYDEX® sheet offers Notched Izod impact resistance up to 18 ft-lbs/in. (960 J/m) and is available in thicknesses ranging from .028” to .500” (0.7mm to 12.7mm), suitable for enduring levels of abuse from moderate to extreme. Additionally, due to its high degree of toughness and resilience, KYDEX® sheet can be stretched at room temperature to twice its original dimensions without breaking.
