ABS Grades

ABS, or acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, is a common thermoplastic recognized for its ease of machining to tight tolerances, thermoforming capabilities, and affordability. Its versatility and performance make it a preferred material for applications such as equipment housings, model making, storage bins, trays, and interior trims for vehicles and aircrafts. ABS is unique among on-metallic materials due to its ability to be electroplated. It provides good resistance to chemicals, stress cracking, alkalis, certain oils, mineral acids, and inorganic salt solutions. 

ABS sheet and rod are ideal for applications requiring turning, drilling, milling, sawing, die-cutting, or shearing. These materials offer excellent abrasion, moisture, and creep resistance, and good dielectric properties.
